Andre Amstutz
Andre Amstutz led a highly successful career
in advertising and his decorative and humorous work in that field is well
known.
He was also a part-time lecturer at the Leicester College of Art and Design, during which time he met Allan Ahlberg who introduced him to children’s book illustration. Together they worked on numerous titles including the ‘Funny Bones’ and ‘Happy Families’ series. Andre has also had three of his own stories published.
Andre was born in Brighton and now lives in Suffolk. He enjoys gardening, painting and travelling.
