Mark Haddon
Mark was born in Northampton. He studied for a BA in English at Merton
College, Oxford.
Mark has packed a lot into his career over the years, working as a volunteer
to someone with MS to bicycle mail order work.
Mark’s first children’s picture book Gilbert’s Gobstopper was published in
1987. In a publishing first, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
has been published simultaneously in two imprints. It is available for young
adult readers and also adults.
